2010 Intesa tra Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto Iniziative per favore dei community to corregionali all'estero
Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto promote forms of mutual collaboration and cooperation in interventions for their communities of fellow countrymen abroad, through the identification of projects and initiatives of common interest. An agreement to this effect was signed iere (10) to Portsmouth by the councilors of migration of both regions: the Veneto Oscar De Bona, Roberto Molinaro for the Friuli Venezia Giulia. Attended the signing also the deputy chairman of the regional council of Friuli Maurizio Salvador, the presidents of the associations Venetians in the World and EFASCE-Pordenonesi World, Bruno Moretto and Louis Luchini, and representatives of local governments to Portsmouth, Concordia Sagittaria and Fossalta of Portsmouth.
Protocol stems from the desire of the two regions to identify joint initiatives to develop and strengthen relations with the communities of origin Friulian, Julian, Slovenian and Venetian prevailing abroad. Will be involved organizations, associations and institutions already working on behalf of fellow countrymen abroad, with representatives of the business world. "With this agreement we have gathered the input of the associations - said De Bona - in order to optimize the resources available. Our emigrants are asking it to overcome the provincialism and get references to regional and even inter-type, as in this case. "
De Bona stressed the importance of the cultural initiatives for migrants who want to be convolti but also on the economic plan that can make the contribution.
